Pirelli is pleased with its season-one participation in car customizer Will Castro’s “Unique Autosports: Miami” series on Spike TV.

“Will’s show captures an audience that recognizes Pirelli as the leader in ultra-high performance tire applications in the replacement and original equipment markets,” says Rafael Navarro III, the company’s director of media relations and motorsports.

Unique’s design language is a vital part of Pirelli’s brand position in the tuner/builder marketplace,” he notes.

“We have had an amazing response from our fans – they love the show,” says Castro. “The show gives fans an up-close and personal look at their favorite celebrities and their Unique Special Edition vehicles as well as the relationships we make along the way,” he explains.

“We give them a behind-the-scenes taste of what it’s like to be in our Unique world,” adds Castro.

Some of the celebrities featured this season included CC Sabathia, AJ Burnett and Nick Swisher of the New York Yankees; NASCAR driver/owner Tony Stewart; NBA All-Stars Amare Stoudemire and Jermaine O’Neal; former New York Giant football star and current Fox NFL Sunday analyst and Pros vs. Joes host Michael Strahan; and hip-hop artist Fat Joe.

“Unique Autosports and Will Castro continue to be Pirelli Partners thanks to their excellence and influence in the urban and youth markets and their dedication to the Pirelli brand,” Navarro says.
