Continental’s newest tire distribution center in Redlands, Calif. is now operating at full capacity following a recent Grand Opening gala.

The 500,000-square-foot warehouse on 27.5 acres features a state-of-the-art system for expediting orders, according to manager Adam Sepanski. The site consolidates two smaller operations in the California communities of Ontario and South Gate.

“We are very pleased to open our doors in an official way,” says Sepanski. “We couldn’t have found a better location than right here in Redlands, and we look forward to a long tenure in this outstanding facility.”

The structure has enough space to store and distribute more than 450,000 car, light truck and commercial tires. The local management team, tire specialists, material handlers and drivers will be moving some 2 million units per year.
