A California-based plaintiff law firm specializing in tire liability and injury cases has booted up a new Internet site, www.tire-defect-law.com, focusing on “the dangers of defective tire design and manufacture that can present serious safety hazards to drivers, passengers and other innocent victims.”

The site from Greene Broillet & Wheeler also offers tire safety tips for motorists, including information about tire anatomy, tread separation, valve stems, inflation and tire age “to better understand how and where defects can occur and what can be done to prevent accidents,” according to partner Christine D. Spagnoli.

“Unfortunately, tire manufacturers and sellers don’t provide adequate warning or instruction to protect consumers and warn them of tire-related dangers,” she contends.

“Instead they often make excuses and try to blame consumers for accidents and fatalities involving tires when, in fact, it is their own design or manufacturing errors which are at fault,” Spagnoli asserts. “Our attorneys have the expertise to litigate tire related product liability and personal injury lawsuits and to hold defective tire makers responsible for their negligence.”

According to Spagnoli, it was her documentation in cases involving Goodyear’s load range E (LRE) tires that prompted the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to investigate tires used on 15-passenger vans and ambulances, leading to the company’s recall of more than 200,000 tires.
