Continuing its support of grassroots car club events, Yokohama again sponsored the May 9 Toyotafest at the Queen Mary in Long Beach, Calif. It was the 14th annual edition of event, which featured more than 370 new and vintage Toyotas on display.

Yokohama’s booth highlighted its entire line of tires, including the recently-launched ultra high-performance ADVAN Neova AD08 and its soon-to-be-released eco-friendly dB Super E-spec tire with fitments for the Toyota Prius.

The dB Super E-spec combines orange oil with natural rubber – thus using less petroleum in the production process – and is designed to have a low rolling resistance for improved fuel efficiency. It won a Popular Mechanics Editor’s Choice Award in 2008.

“The Toyotafest has grown in size over the years, but the care the organizers put into it has kept the quality of the event high and the experience truly special,” says Fred Koplin, Yokohama’s director of marketing communications. “It’s a great opportunity for us to interact face-to-face with Toyota enthusiasts and we are highly pleased with our continued involvement in the event.”
