Toyo has launched two new sizes of its M154 ultra-premium regional highway commercial tire. The debut sizes are 265/75R22.5 and 245/75R22.5, both in load range G.

“We are pleased to roll out our new offerings of the M154 for our highly valued medium truck operators,” says Ron Gilbert, Toyo’s commercial sales director.

The company will showcase the M154 and its other commercial tires at the March 4-6 Work Truck Show in Chicago. Gilbert says attendees are likely to also take interest in the M143 and M608Z. Both product lines were recently expanded to include a size of 225/70R19.5, load range G. “This size is ideal for the new Ford F450 and F550, popular workhorses in the truck market.”

Released last year, the M154 line incorporates proprietary e-balance design technology, which improves both endurance and resistance to irregular wear, according to Gilbert, who says the tire is engineered for steer applications while also being appropriate for any position on the rig. The new design helps to reduce fuel consumption while delivering reliable operation, he adds.

The M143 is an all-position; all-steel low-profile radial designed using DSOC II computer technology. It includes a special Belt-Defender compound to increase durability and casing life by fighting heat and stress, Gilbert says. The M608Z is a premium drive axle tire with an extra wide block and lug pattern for reliable service when road conditions provide extra challenges.
