As part of a TBC Corp. restructuring program, a series of key personnel shifts have been implemented involving employees of TBC, Tire Kingdom, National Tire & Battery, Merchant’s Tire and Auto Center, Big O Tires, Private Brands, Treadways and Carroll Tires.

“These restructuring initiatives have consolidated our company’s operational functions to provide the TBC Retail Group with one support organization across all retail brands, improving efficiencies and helping us to focus on driving sales and profitability,” says Orland Wolford, president and CEO.

Both Bill Ihnken, chief operating officer and executive vice president of the TBC Retail Stores Group, and Kevin Kormondy, Big O’s COO and EVP, will continue to report directly to Wolford.

Changes include:

Greg Dieffenbach has joined the retail group as vice president of human resources with more than 30 years of retail HR experience.

Previously vice president of franchise finance for Big O, Mike Kinnen has been promoted to the outlet’s vice president of operations. He came aboard Big O in March.

Bob Crostarosa, Tire Kingdom’s former vice president of marketing, has moved up to become the retail group’s senior vice president of marketing. He has been with the company since 2001.

The new senior vice president of real estate and distribution for the retail group is Charlie Zacharias, previously vice president of real estate and distribution for Tire Kingdom.

James Rowe becomes senior vice president of purchasing/inventory control for the retail group after serving as Tire Kingdom’s vice president of purchasing/inventory control.

A similar promotion has been earned by Dave Moyer; he is the new senior vice president of consumer affairs and regulatory compliance for the retail group. He previously was vice president of consumer affairs and regulatory compliance at Tire Kingdom.

Tire Kingdom’s former vice president of purchasing for non-tire products, Lynn Parker, has moved up to become the retail group’s senior vice president of purchasing for non-tire products.

Greg Ortega is now vice president of retail marketing and merchandising at the retail group after serving in that position at Tire Kingdom. He has held several field operations, marketing, purchasing and product planning positions at the firm since joining Big O in 1996.

The retail group’s new senior director of financial planning and analysis is Frank Setteducate, who was promoted from being Tire Kingdom’s director of financial planning and analysis. He has been with the company since 1995.

Pati Pressler was also promoted. She is now director of training and organizational development for the retail group after previously serving as Tire Kingdom’s director of leadership, excellence and learning.
