More than 700 repairers, insurers and stakeholders in the collision repair industry participated in the Jan. 25 educational webcast “Hybrid Vehicles and Safe Repairs” conducted by I-CAR and ABRN.

The free one-hour webcast, sponsored by Mitchell International, provided timely information on the growing trend of hybrid vehicles and offered tips on how to repair them safely.

Jeff Poole, I-CAR performance training coordinator, presented the content and Bruce Adams, ABRN managing editor, was the moderator. The information was designed to help collision repair shops understand how hybrid vehicles work, to provide helpful information about their proper repair them and to explain why the information is critical to future success.

The webcast included a question and answer session during which participants submitted nearly 100 questions.

The webcast is archived online and is available to view free of charge. People who want to view it need to fill out the registration form for the event. Those who already have filled out the form simply need to sign in with their e-mail address.
