WIN Announces Sponsorship Drive Goals

Sept. 4, 2013

Sept. 4, 2013—The Women’s Industry Network (WIN) announced Tuesday the start of  its 2014 Sponsorship Drive, as it looks for partners in supporting its plans to provide education and mentorship programs for women in the automotive industry.

Part of WIN’s 2014 efforts will include taking the lead on the annual Most Influential Women in the Collision Repair Industry awards program, which has recognized 75 women in the industry since it was founded by AkzoNobel in 1999

The sponsorship drive will also support new scholarship opportunities to help female students entering or continuing their studies in collision repair.

“The expansion of our programs to include Most Influential Women awards and new scholarship opportunities is a direct result of the unwavering support WIN has received from the industry,” said Margaret Knell, chair of the board of directors for WIN. “We gratefully acknowledge that without this broad-based response from all segments of the industry, we would be unable to continue the great programs we have in place.”
