Caliber Donates $15,000 to Education Foundation

June 14, 2013

June 14, 2013—Caliber Collision Centers recently donated $15,000 to secondary and post-secondary collision students through the Collision Repair Education Foundation.

“Caliber Collision has a long-standing commitment to workforce development. Our commitment to the Collision Repair Education Foundation is one of the many ways we ensure that today’s young adults see our industry as a challenging and profitable profession,” said Mark Sanders, chief operating officer of Caliber. “We look forward to awarding scholarships to future collision repair industry leaders across the southwest.”

According to the Education Foundation, $12,000 of the donation is specifically earmarked to fund Caliber’s 2014 student scholarships that it provides through the foundation. The remaining $3,000 will be funneled into the Education Foundation’s Collision Repair Education Campaign, which is used to fund the organization’s operating budget and other support to collision schools and students.

“Through collision industry members investing in their local secondary and post-secondary collision school programs, instructors and students, we will be able to foster a future of entry-level staff that are capable and efficient workers,” said Brandon Eckenrode, director of development for the Education Foundation. “I thank Caliber Collision for their continued support of the Collision Repair Education Foundation and their local collision schools.”
