New NACE Event Chair Announced; CARS Chair Re-Appointed

Jan. 22, 2013—Automotive Service & Repair Week (ASRW) announced today that Dan Stander will serve as the next event chairman for the International Autobody Congress & Exposition (NACE) and Bill Moss will return for a second term as the event chairman for the Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS).

Stander, AAM, of Fix Auto Highlands Ranch in Littleton, Colo., is a second-generation collision shop owner with 30 years of experience. Since 2007, Stander has taken an active role as an educational presenter during NACE, and has attended the annual event each year since 2007.

A CARS attendee since 2001, Moss, AAM, is the owner of EuroService Automotive in Warrenton, Va. Moss has been a National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence certified master technician for more than 20 years and serves as the Mechanical Division director on the Automotive Service Association’s board of directors.

Each chairman will represent his segment of the industry at the 2013 ASRW event, which is scheduled for Oct. 17-19 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
