July 19, 2013—Bruce Clifton of Enterprise Holdings and Jeanne Silver of CARSTAR Mundelein have joined the Collision Repair Education Foundation Board of Trustees.

The Board of Trustees consists of industry members who provide guidance in the organization’s efforts to support high school, technical school and college collision students nationwide.

Clifton began his career with Enterprise Rent-A-Car in 1985 as a management trainee in Indianapolis and is currently vice president of the insurance replacement division and fleet rental division of Enterprise Holdings.

“I am pleased to be a part of this effort to prepare young people for careers in an industry that is so vital to our success and the overall success of the industry,” Clifton said.

Silver has been in the collision repair industry for over 30 years, and 17 years with her current employer, CARSTAR Mundelein in Mundelein, Ill. In addition to holding numerous local volunteer roles and designations within her local community, she has participated in industry organizations and associations that include the Collision Industry Foundation, Women’s Industry Network, National Auto Body Council, and the Collision Industry Conference. Silver was also selected as a 2002 Most Influential Women in the Industry recipient.

“The future of the collision industry depends on a well-educated workforce. The Collision Repair Education Foundation aids the process, and I am honored to be included among industry leaders who give their time and expertise to further this important cause,” said Silver.
