Aug. 11, 2011 – State Farm has contributed $70,000 to the Collision Repair Education Foundation to support the Collision Repair Education Campaign fund.

The campaign fund provides the foundation’s annual student scholarships, school grants and the annual Ultimate Collision Education Makeover $50,000 grant.

“State Farm’s donation and long-standing partnership with the Education Foundation significantly helped our efforts supporting secondary and post-secondary collision students and their school’s collision programs,” said Collision Repair Education Foundation Executive Director Scott Kruger. “It is through this continued support that the Education Foundation can help us ensure that students receive the best educational experience possible before entering into the industry.”

State Farm Claim Consultant Chris Evans said the foundation's mission is in line with State Farm's.

“We believe that all young people deserve an education that helps them reach their potential and prepares them for life. In this context, our support goes to collision repair programs that provide students the instruction, resources, and support they need to succeed.”
