June 24, 2010—Universal Technical Institute Inc. (UTI) has opened its new campus in Dallas/Fort Worth. The new campus is the school’s 11th location; the campus’s first class of 96 students started training on Monday.
The new facility can accommodate approximately 1,000 students training for careers in the automotive and diesel industries, and has 95,000 square feet of classroom, lab and administrative space.
"We are proud to bring UTI training to the Dallas/ Fort Worth metropolitan area," said Kimberly McWaters, president and CEO of UTI. "The opening of our 11th campus coincides with the introduction of our new blended learning curriculum which offers more convenience and training flexibility for our students and increases operating efficiencies at the campus.”
