LORD Corp. Hits Training Milestone

Jan. 8, 2013

Jan. 8, 2013—LORD Corporation recently announced the completion of 1,125 instructional clinics in 2012, serving 5,503 students as part of the I-CAR Fusor Training Alliance.

LORD, a collision industry leader in metal and plastic bonding solutions, updated its Fusor/I-CAR training alliance curriculum in 2012 and now offers five comprehensive, one-hour training courses.

The courses are designed with the intent of providing the “latest in adhesive and sealer applications procedures,” according to the company’s press release_notes.  “These courses were designed to teach proper product repair procedures using lean processes that result in repairs that match original, OEM performance and appearance.”

In 2001, LORD Corporation became the first adhesive company to offer such curriculum by I-CAR through the Industry Training Alliance program.

“We are proud to offer this education to our industry and congratulate the collision repair professionals that have successfully completed their training. Achieving this success in 2012 is a major milestone for the program,” Timothy Jackson, regional manager at LORD said in a statement.
