Education Foundation to Attend School Counselor Conference

June 20, 2014

June 20, 2014—The Collision Repair Education Foundation announced Thursday it will exhibit and attend the 2014 American School Counselor Association (ASCA) Annual Conference later this month.

The Education Foundation aims to provide counselors and schools with collision industry and career opportunity information for students at the June 29– July 2 event.

The ASCA conference will be held in Orlando, Fla., where the Education Foundation will host a booth during the conference trade show and will deliver a presentation to counselors about career and education opportunities in the collision industry.

“We look forward to the opportunity to meet with school counselors nationwide and provide them with information about the $35 billion collision industry, explain the various industry career opportunities for students to consider, and encourage that their schools invest in their collision school programs,” said Brandon Eckenrode, CREF director of development. “As we will be increasing our efforts to communicate to school administration and counselors about the need to support their high school and post-secondary collision school programs, the ability to have a presence at this event is a great first step.”
