ABRA Auto Body & Glass Donates $81,000 to Ed. Foundation

June 6, 2016

June 6, 2016—ABRA Auto Body & Glass announced Monday that it has donated $81,000 to the Collision Repair Education Foundation to support collision repair education programs, schools and students.

“We are truly grateful for the long-standing and significant support that ABRA has shown us over the years. Many of these activities would not be possible without the generosity of partners like ABRA Auto Body & Glass,” Ed. Foundation director of development Brandon Eckenrode said.

Approximately $40,000 of that donation will go to Fayetteville Technical College in Fayetteville, N.C., to support students’ and veterans’ transition into the collision repair industry. About $11,000 funded a student scholarship and ABRA’s participation in Foundation career fairs around the country throughout the year.

As recently featured in FenderBender, Fayetteville Technical Community College is helping military veterans transition into the collision repair industry.

“It’s a great feeling knowing this donation will help play a part in the development and growth of our industry as well as support the advancement of students interested in a career in collision repair,” ABRA chief people officer David Kuhl said.
