Carubba Collision, Erie 1 BOCES Receive Collaboration Award

June 17, 2016—Carubba Collision announced Thursday that its Buffalo, N.Y., location and Erie 1 BOCES were given an award for developing a partnership to aid students.

The collaboration was recognized at the 38th annual Erie County Association of School Boards (ECASB) dinner meeting. The award was sponsored by Hodgson Russ LLP. 

Carubba Collision provided students in the collision repair program with granted scholarship opportunities and real-world experience in addition to donating $25,000 in equipment and supplies. In addition, at the end of a two-year curriculum at the Erie 1 BOCES Career and Technical Education Collision Repair program, students are guaranteed a job interview at Carubba Collision.
