Oct. 15, 2014—CCC Information Services has provided a $30,000 donation to the the Collision Repair Education Foundation to support the foundation’s scholarships and school grants for industry education programs.
CCC’s donation will go to schools that applied for the Ultimate Collision Education Makeover grant, which go toward the purchase of classroom materials to enhance the collision program’s facility and to create a better learning environment for the students.
The Makeover grants will be awarded at the Collision Repair Education Foundation Industry Reception at the 2014 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
“CCC Information Services has been a longtime supporter of the Foundation and they truly understand the importance of education at career and technical schools,” Clark Plucinski, executive director of the Education Foundation, said in a release. “These grants will allow schools to equip a collision classroom that will make students proud and will enhance their education, thereby producing better entry-level collision employees.
