June 12, 2013—Axalta Coating Systems recently donated $22,000 worth of paint products to Nicols Career Center in Jefferson City, Mo., through the Collision Repair Education Foundation.

The donation included a Nason mixing system, tints, lids, scale, color computer, and other related products.

Nicols Career Center was one of the schools that received the Education Foundation’s Ultimate Collision Education Makeover school grant in 2012.

“Axalta Coating Systems is committed to technical education and will continue to support the efforts of the Collision Repair Education Foundation,” said Jim Evans, national training manager for Axalta. “We congratulate the staff and students at Nicols Career Center for this award and their dedication to education and self-improvement, and trust that this donation will provide the products, tools and resources to make their journey one that they will remember with pride.”
