Sept. 23, 2011

Sept. 23, 2011—DuPont Performance Coatings on Friday announced it will sponsor and present an educational seminar as part of the Society of Collision Repair Specialist’s (SCRS) Repairer Driven Education (RDE) series during the 2011 SEMA Show.

The DuPont-hosted seminar, titled “Lean 3.0—A practical path to using lean to improve process flow,” will offer techniques about improving the flow of vehicles, people, parts, supplies and information through the shop. The impact of these principles on daily production management and how they can be applied to administrative processes will also be discussed. Attendees will receive a production-planning tool to use for implementation of the principles taught.

The seminar, which is scheduled for Nov. 2 at 12:30 p.m. PST, will be presented by John Sweigart, principle of The Body @, and Steve Trapp, collision services development manager for DuPont Performance Coatings.
