Aug. 8, 2012—Brandywine Automotive Parts recently joined Team PRP’s national network of independent auto recyclers.

Brandywine Automotive Parts, based in Brandywine, Md., is Team PRP’s first auto recycling partner in Maryland. The company is a full service auto recycler and new alternative parts provider for late model cars, trucks and SUVs.

“We welcome the Brandywine group to Team PRP. They have been an integral part of the automotive parts industry for over 80 years and their constant commitment to providing the customer with the best products and service backed by exceptional warranties is a perfect fit with the PRP vision,” said Kent Rothwell, owner of Weaver Parts and chairman of Team PRP’s national board. “Their multiple locations allow us to provide excellent coverage in Maryland while strengthening our coverage in Northern Virginia and Maryland.”

Brandywine Automotive Parts’ 11 facilities throughout Maryland and Virginia increased Team PRP’s network to 130 members.

“Team PRP is a natural fit for our growth plan and provides opportunities for expansion in purchasing and selling to the other PRP members. We also have access to PRP members’ nationwide inventory, which allows us to support our customers’ needs even more than we do now, and allows us to continue to be competitive in the replacement parts environment,” said Woody Meinhardt, president of Brandywine Automotive Parts. “We are also excited to have access to PRP’s other member benefits including their additional product lines and training tools.”
