Dec. 7, 2012—Organizers of Automotive Service & Repair Week (ASRW) on Thursday issued a request for presentation submissions for next year’s event.
ASRW is searching for industry speakers and experts on various subject matters to make presentations during ASRW 2013, which is scheduled for Oct. 17-19 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. Event organizers said presentation content must fit into its Management, Technical or Women’s Professional Development tracks. Presentations are formatted in 90-minute and three-hour segments, and will be scheduled Oct. 16-19.
The ASRW Conference Planning Committee will review all presentation proposals based on originality, past speaker performance or references, timeliness of topic, practical application of concepts or information, and relevance to the collision repair and automotive service industries.
All presentations selected for the Management and Women’s Professional Development tracks will be submitted to the Automotive Management Institute (AMI) for potential AMI accreditation, according to ARSW organizers.
Speaker and presentation submissions can be made online. The deadline is Jan. 15.
“ASRW has a long-standing history of meeting the educational needs of the industry, and we look forward to receiving a plethora of relevant, timely presentation ideas for next year’s NACE and CARS programs,” said Ellen Pipkin, show manager for ASRW.
