ABRA opens franchise location in Michigan

Aug. 20, 2012—ABRA Auto Body & Glass this week opened a new franchise collision repair center in Grand Rapids, Mich.

ABRA’s new repair center, previously known as Extreme Auto Body, is the company’s 44th franchise location. The shop will remain independently owned by Pablo Rodriguez.

“We are excited to expand ABRA’s national footprint in the Midwest and venture into the great state of Michigan,” said Duane Rouse, president and CEO of ABRA. “This is a tremendous opportunity and is part of our strategy to accelerate ABRA’s growth in the months and years ahead.”

Brooklyn Center, Minn.-based ABRA now operates a total of 126 franchise and corporate repair centers throughout 14 U.S. states.

“We have a lot of growth momentum and opening this franchise in Michigan is a great opportunity to expand ABRA Auto Body & Glass into new markets,” said Tim Adelmann, ABRA’s executive vice president of business development.
