ASA Midwest to Host Affordable Care Act Seminar in Iowa

Sept. 5, 2013—The Automotive Service Association (ASA) Midwest is hosting a chapter event in Des Moines, Iowa, titled The Affordable Care Act and the Impact On Your Small Business.

Presented by Dan Garcia, account executive of Federated Insurance, the event will discuss the effects of the Affordable Care Act on small businesses and specific details about what employers are able to do with their commercial health programs. New requirements, taxes and fines that begin on Jan. 1 will also be discussed.

The seminar will be held at Smokey D’s BBQ in Des Moines on Sept. 24 from 6:30–8:30 p.m. and will include dinner.
