LKQ to plant a tree for every website visitor

April 23, 2010

April 23, 2010—In honor of Earth Day, LKQ Corp. will plant a tree for every person who visits the website LKQGetGreen.com between April 22 and June 30, and enters a valid email address.

Each submission will also allow people to receive a coupon to plant up to 25 more trees or receive up to $25 off their LKQ parts purchase (restrictions do apply).

“Choosing to buy recycled car and truck parts is an easy way for our customers to do something good for the environment,” said Robert Wagman, senior vice president of operations, Wholesale Parts Division for Chicago-based LKQ. “But for Earth Day, we wanted to give them a chance to do even more to Get Green with LKQ."

LKQ operates approximately 295 facilities and offers a wide range of replacement systems, components, and parts to repair automobiles, light-duty trucks and heavy-duty trucks.

To have a tree planted on your behalf, go to LKQGetGreen.com.
