March 9, 2011 — Insurance reform, vehicle disclosure legislation, crash parts and the Environmental Protection Agency’s 6H rule are among the topics Automotive Service Association (ASA) members plan to discuss May 11 at the U.S. Capitol, the organization said Tuesday.
It's part of ASA’s annual Taking the Hill Day, which allows members to meet directly with representatives from the U.S. House and Senate.
“With a large number of new members of Congress, this will be a unique opportunity for ASA members to educate policymakers about the independent automotive repair industry and its impact on the economy,” the ASA said in a press release_notes.
The event is available to ASA members in both collision repair and mechanical repair. It takes place after the organization's business meetings and Association Leadership Summit, scheduled May 9-10.
