Fix Auto Canada to use Mitchell International management system

Jan. 26, 2011

Jan. 26, 2011 — The largest collision repair network in Canada has chosen to use Mitchell International’s RepairCenter shop management system, Mitchell announced Wednesday.

Fix Auto Canada will begin implementing the system this month across all of its 200 franchise centers. RepairCenter will host Fix Auto’s proprietary standard operating procedures, making them easily accessible, Mitchell says.

The system will also provide job tracking, automatic customer updates, parts management, opportunity tracking, production management and many other user-friendly tools. RepairCenter can also integrate with popular accounting applications to improve efficiency and consistency.

"We were looking for a centralized solution that could be easily adapted to Fix Auto's unique business model and proprietary data systems to drive performance at the individual shop level, as well as provide robust reporting and management tools for our corporate managers," said Steve Leal, chief operating officer of Fix Auto Canada. "Mitchell RepairCenter provides exactly what we need to take our network into the next generation with new technology and tools to increase efficiencies in all areas of our business.”

French language functionality will be launched in RepairCenter later this year to serve Fix Auto’s Quebec shops.
