March 6, 2012—ALLDATA on Tuesday signed a strategic agreement with automotive marketing company AutoVitals to help repair shops attract and retain customers.
ALLDATA said the partnership with AutoVitals will offer immediate benefits to repair facilities that use ALLDATA's various web technologies and social media products. Through AutoVitals' marketing platform, which is specific to the independent automotive industry, the company can tailor search engine optimization technology to improve a shop's Web ranking and visibility. ALLDATA said that will allow shops to market to a wide audience at low cost, and obtain higher profits.
In addition, AutoVitals will solicit customer reviews to help shops build an online reputation, according to ALLDATA.
"In areas with 20,000 drivers or more, there are more than 2,000 Internet searches for auto repair shops per month," said Uwe Kleinschmidt, CEO of AutoVitals. "Our services help shop owners significantly cut their advertising budgets with substantially higher returns. And they achieve a highly personalized customer experience at the counter and beyond. Teaming up with ALLDATA should enable many ALLDATA repair shop users to make dramatic improvements in customer acquisition and retention."
"ALLDATA has selected AutoVitals as the best solution in the industry for helping customers reach a wide audience of interested consumers," said Jeff Lagges, president of ALLDATA. "We have always been about helping shops succeed, and this is a proven tool to help them get the results they want."
