EstimateScrubber adds new claims tools for shops

Oct. 22, 2012

Oct. 22, 2012—VehicleOwnersGuide.com recently added new job assignment and claims view tools to its Web-based EstimateScrubber portal, estimatescrubber.com.

The new EstimateScrubber modules allow repairers to communicate with and receive work assignments from any insurance company online. EstimateScrubber users are now able to electronically perform pre-upload audits, upload estimates and photographs, and update repair statuses regardless of the estimating platform used by the shop.

Steven Siessman, president of VehicleOwnersGuide.com, said the new EstimateScrubber tools are free for all users, and are meant to reduce business costs and administrative work for repairers.

“Our vision is to reduce artificial barriers and inefficiencies associated with the current process. Until we developed EstimateScrubber.com, you couldn’t review estimate notes and other information printed on the estimate but not exported. That significantly limited the usefulness of third party estimate review and claims systems,” Siessman said. “It is now possible to perform a thorough review of estimates generated from any providers’ system, making the connections between estimating and claims view systems ubiquitous.”
