Boyd Group opens three new repair centers

Oct. 3, 2011—The Boyd Group Inc. on Monday announced the opening of three new repair centers in Ohio and Washington.

The company opened one location in Grove City, Ohio and one in Seattle. A third repair center in Everett, Wash. is expected to open next week, according to the Boyd Group.

The 19,000-square-foot Grove City, Ohio facility operates under the True2Form Collision Repair Centers trade name. The Boyd Group said it now operates 38 repair centers under the True2Form trade name.

The 19,000-square-foot Seattle location and the 9,000-square-foot Everett, Wash. location operate under the Gerber Collision & Glass trade name. The Boyd Group said it now operates 63 repair centers under the Gerber Collision & Glass trade name.

The Boyd Group now operates nine repair centers in Ohio and 10 in Washington. The company has 128 total locations across the U.S., according to the Boyd Group.
"We are continuing to execute on our strategy of expanding into select markets and growing our network of repair centers across North America," said Tim O'Day, president and chief operations officer of the Boyd Group's U.S. Operations. "Our newest start-up facility in Grove City is our fifth location in the Columbus metro area and expands our service territory to southwestern Franklin County."

The Boyd Group is the largest operator of collision repair centers in North America. The company operates locations in four Canadian provinces under the trade name Boyd Autobody & Glass, as well as in 13 U.S. states under the trade names Gerber Collision & Glass, True2Form and Cars. The company also operates Gerber National Glass Services, an auto glass repair and replacement referral business.
