Collision Revision acquires Illinois shops

April 24, 2012

April 24, 2012—Collision Revision has purchased two shops in Springfield, Ill.

Earlier this month the company acquired 1 Stop Auto Body facilities in Chatham, Ill., and Sherman, Ill. The closing date is May 1, and the grand opening is planned for early June.

Between the two locations, a staff of 20-24 is expected to produce 16 repair orders each day, according to a news release_notes.

“We are extremely excited about the acquisition of these new centers, which will bring our central Illinois store count to eight, and 29 facilities overall,” Chris Baum, director of field sales, said in a prepared statement.  “The addition of these stores was a critical part of our growth strategy to continue adding centers throughout the midwest, and lead us into the greater St. Louis area.”

Collision Revision Inc. operates 29 repair centers throughout Illinois, Indiana and Florida. Its principal offices are in Joliet, Ill.
