Sherwin-Williams release_notess third-quarter training schedule

June 23, 2011 — Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes on Wednesday announced its training schedule for July through September.

The curriculum will offer repair professionals three months of intensive business building and production excellence courses in classroom, online and hands-on settings. Courses will be offered at Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes training centers throughout the country.

Course topics include painter certification, AWX waterborne systems, color adjustment and blending, fleet refinishing, accurate estimating, workshop efficiency and more.

“All of our courses this year reflect the Sherwin-Williams philosophy of lean operations,” said Rod Habel, Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes manager of training operations. “We’re seeking to introduce concepts that support sustainable practices, increase productivity and minimize or even eliminate waste—all factors that are necessary to the success of a collision center.”
