Dec. 6, 2012—Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes has released its training schedule for the first quarter of 2013.
Sherwin’s first quarter training courses are designed to increase shop productivity with focuses on painter certification, AWX Performance Plus waterborne refinish systems, color adjustment and blending, fleet refinishing, accurate estimating and workshop efficiency.
The training sessions are scheduled to run January through March. They will be offered in classroom, Web and hands-on formats, and conducted at Sherwin’s metropolitan training centers throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Rod Habel, director of training operations for Sherwin, said all of the classes have been developed for digital training. All hands-on training classes have been converted from use of printed manuals to digital textbooks.
“Converting all of our training manuals from paper to digital has provided our employees and customers with an enhanced learning experience,” Habel said. “It has established Sherwin-Williams Automotive as a category leader in training practices and demonstrated our environmental consciousness by eliminating the use of thousands of pages of paper each year.”
