May 2, 2011 — The Boyd Group recently opened a new facility in Georgia, its second new opening in less than a week.

The new 26,000-square-foot shop, previously known as McDonough Collision, will now operate under the Gerber Collision & Glass trade name. It is the Boyd Group’s 12th repair center in Georgia and 99th nationwide.

“We continue to execute on our strategy of expanding into select markets and growing our network of repair centers across North America,” said Tim O’Day, president and COO of the Boyd Group's U.S. operations. “The new McDonough repair center helps us introduce the Gerber Collision & Glass brand to an additional Georgia market and we are very pleased to be able to serve new customers in this location.

”The Boyd Group is the largest operator of collision centers in North America. Its shops run under the names Boyd Autobody & Glass, Gerber Collision & Glass and True2Form Collision Repair Centers. For more information, go to
