Gerber adds repair center in Maryland

Sept. 21, 2012—The Boyd Group Inc. this week opened a new collision repair center in Germantown, Md.

The Boyd Group’s 17,000-square-foot facility will operate under the Gerber Collision & Glass trade name.

"The new Germantown center is situated in an attractive location on a main commercial thoroughfare with many auto dealerships in the surrounding area," said Tim O'Day, president and chief operating officer of the Boyd Group's U.S. operations. "As we continue to execute on our North American growth strategy, this center will serve the northwest Washington, D.C. customers and insurance partners."

The Boyd Group now operates eight collision repair locations in Maryland, and 153 facilities throughout 14 U.S. states.
