March 8, 2011 — The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers (AASP) is accepting applications for grants meant to fund improvements in the collision repair and mechanical industries.
This is the second year of AASP’s Industry Improvement Grant program, launched to meet unmet needs in auto repair. More than $12,000 in grants have been awarded so far to fund research on business-to-business data ownership and privacy rights, and a campaign to promote the benefits of doing business with independent mechanical repair shops.
Grant applications will be accepted through March 31 and reviewed by the AASP board April 28. To download an application or get more information, go to autoserviceproviders.com.
The AASP is a coalition of associations that serves more than 8,500 members of the automotive service industry.
