Jan. 23, 2013—Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes will host its next A-Plus University EcoLean Level 1 workshop Feb. 27-28 at the Aria Resort and Hotel in Las Vegas.
Sherwin-Williams said the EcoLean Level 1 workshop is available to collision repair center owners and managers throughout the United States and Canada. The workshop is designed to educate attendees about maximizing profitability by improving productivity and eliminating waste throughout their facilities.
The EcoLean Level 1 workshop includes the following curriculum items:
• Principles of reducing environmental waste
• Overview of lean production and its practical application in collision repair
• Approaches to making collision facilities more efficient and consistent
• How to build a lean culture from the ground up
“The EcoLean curriculum was developed specifically with collision shop operators in mind. Through it they will learn practical processes and useful tips on lean production’s application in collision repair, and methods to make their collision shops more efficient, productive, and subsequently more profitable,” said Troy Neuerburg, manager of marketing business services for Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes. “We aim to give our EcoLean 1 workshop attendees an extensive and comprehensive look of how they can build a lean culture in their shop from the ground up.”
Neuerburg added that the two-day workshop will provide participants with tangible tools to immediately increase the quality and production output of their businesses, and to make sound business decisions that will reduce excessive, duplicative procedures and waste.
