Driver Assistance System Market to Expand

July 11, 2013—The global driver assistance system market is expected to reach 108.6 million vehicles in 2018, according to a new report by research firm Research and Markets.

With the escalation in global vehicle sales, governments and automobile manufacturers have turned their attention toward increased vehicle and road safety.

In response, major automobile manufacturers are introducing driver assistance systems to produce safe, high performance and eco-friendly models.

According to the report, the market is projected to reach $13.4 billion by the end of 2013 and is estimated to grow to $33.6 billion by 2018.

Europe is expected to lead the market, followed by North America.
