June 3, 2013—CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts on Monday announced the opening of a new shop location in Elmhurst, Ill., near Chicago.
CARSTAR’s new location, International CARSTAR Body Shop, is independently owned by Bob and Bill Kopulus. The shop has operated for more than 40 years.
As part of the CARSTAR network, International CARSTAR Body Shop now has access to the company’s management system, business resources, 19 corporately managed direct repair programs (DRPs) and 45 corporately managed purchasing programs.
“We are excited to see Bob and Bill Kopulus join the CARSTAR network,” said David Byers, CEO of CARSTAR, which operates more than 410 collision repair locations throughout 32 U.S. states and 10 Canadian provinces. “We are thrilled to expand our presence in the Chicago region, and welcome International CARSTAR Body Shop as our newest top-notch collision repair center in the area.”
