Summit to launch Web-based scheduling platform at NACE

Oct. 5, 2012

Oct. 5, 2012—Summit Software and Marketing Solutions will introduce an online calendar and scheduling platform for collision repair shops during the 2012 NACE Expo in New Orleans.

Summit said its new calendar and scheduling tool, called CalCentral, is designed to connect all participants involved in the claims and repair process. The tool allows consumers, shops, insurance companies, insurance agents and other industry participants to view, share and manage every aspect of the repair process through a single integrated platform.

"We believe CalCentral will revolutionize the way consumers, shops, insurers, agents, rental car companies and other industry participants schedule and manage appointments, vehicle deliveries, repair schedules and communications associated with these events,” said Frank Terlep, CEO of Summit. "Imagine the consumer, shop, shop employees, insurer, agent and rental car companies all being on the same page when it comes to arrivals, deliveries, rental car pickups and more."

Summit said it will demonstrate the CalCentral platform at its exhibitor booth, N1701, during the NACE Expo, which is scheduled for Oct. 10-13 in New Orleans. Summit plans to commercially launch the product by the end of the year.
