May 24, 2012—The Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) on Wednesday announced its Repairer Driven Education (RDE) series is returning to the 2012 SEMA Show for the third consecutive year.
The SCRS said its RDE series includes more than 20 educational sessions during the 2012 SEMA Show, which is scheduled for Oct. 30-Nov. 2 in Las Vegas. RDE sessions will focus on several topics, including digital marketing, social media, and how new metals used in modern vehicle construction impact the repair process.
The headline session of the RDE series, called "Game Changers—Innovation Forum," features industry leaders who will discuss what innovation can look like in the collision repair business and how it is becoming core to business strategy, the SCRS said.
Complete details on the RDE series, including course descriptions and registration information, are available on the SEMA Show website.
"As more and more collision repair businesses attend the SEMA Show, SCRS is pleased to partner with SEMA Show organizers to enhance the overall experience for our segment of the industry," said Aaron Schulenburg, executive director of the SCRS. "The RDE series is a tremendous educational opportunity for the collision industry, providing accessible and affordable education on topics that address issues that truly matter to those working in repair facilities. We were fortunate to be able to present the series at the last two SEMA Shows, and look forward to expanding the program this coming year."
In addition to the RDE series, the SCRS said the 2012 SEMA Show will feature nearly 60 other educational seminars during the event. For more information about the SEMA Show or seminars that will be offered, visit semashow.com.
