CCAR: Two GreenLink Shop additions

Dec. 16, 2010

Dec. 16, 2010—The Coordinating Committee for Automotive Repair (CCAR) announced on Wednesday that two more repair facilities are now GreenLink Shops.

The new GreenLink Shops are:
• Branning Auto Body in Freehold, N.J.;
• Branning’s Brunswick Auto Body, East Brunswick, N.J.

The GreenLink Shop status is designed to promote consumer confidence in local shops’ environmental and safety awareness and stewardship, according to a CCAR press release_notes. To be a GreenLink Shop a collision repair shop or auto service facility must show high standards of excellence in environmental, health and safety compliance.

“Along with being the first to receive GreenLink Shop status in the state of New Jersey, these businesses are the 90th and 91st shops to be accepted since CCAR introduced the program in January of this year,” said Daren Fristoe, CCAR president and chief operating officer. “We salute all 91 of these businesses for their collective commitment to workplace safety and environmental best practices.”
