PPG announces show-truck tour

Jan. 13, 2012—PPG’s custom-painted show truck will appear in 16 states from March to October, and the company release_notesd the tour schedule this week.

The 75-foot, 2007 Freightliner Coronado tractor-trailer rig will stop at major car, truck and hot rod shows sponsored by the National Street Rod Association, the Goodguys Rod and Custom Association, and other organizations for truck and car enthusiasts.

The truck features PPG paint products, and acts as a canvas for PPG master painter Paul Stoll, as well as a team from California-based Kelly & Son the Crazy Painters, a widely respected custom painting shop. 

PPG driver Chad Hook will take the Freightliner to its appearances. Here is Hook’s schedule:
