Dec. 14, 2011—Dynabrade Inc., a manufacturer of industrial abrasive power tools and accessories, on Tuesday announced it appointed Ned Librock as president of the company.
Librock, who served as Dynabrade’s director of marketing for the past five years, will assume his new position immediately. Librock replaces Walter Welsch as Dynabrade’s president. Welsch will continue serving as CEO and chairman of the board of directors for the Clarence, N.Y.-based company.
"We are fortunate to have someone of Ned's caliber and experience step up to lead Dynabrade," Welsch said. "Ned is an outstanding and experienced individual who I know will make the next phase of the company's future a successful one. I know he will implement our strategy and take advantage of the market opportunities ahead. He has a proven track record of execution, and is a strong communicator who is customer focused with deep leadership capabilities. Furthermore, as marketing director for the past five years, Ned has a solid understanding of our products and markets."
"I'm honored that the board has trusted me with this leadership responsibility. Dynabrade is not only financially strong, but also has a top-notch management team in place to build on our solid business model,” Librock said. “Together we'll work to implement the strategy we've developed for 2012 and beyond."
