June 15, 2012—The Martin Senour Company will sponsor the Collision Repair Technology championships at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference. The conference takes place in Kansas City June 23–27.

“Martin Senour Paints is committed to supporting the automotive repair technicians and craftsmen and women of tomorrow. We are proud to provide the next generation of collision repair professionals with the next generation of products, knowledge and tools they’ll need,” said Jeff Green, Martin Senour national sales director. “This means waterborne solutions that not only lower emissions, but provide solvent borne-like application properties. It means fast drying, no-bake, and energy-saving products. “

Ralph Proemm, Martin Senour training specialist, said the company supports contestants by improving and perfecting their skills in areas such as color matching and blending.

“By increasing their capabilities it will help them in this important national competition — and enhance their future work in the profession,” he said.

SkillsUSA is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and U.S. Department of Labor as a successful model of providing educational opportunities in leadership, teamwork, citizenship and character development.
