Oct. 2, 2012—The Collision Industry Foundation (CIF) will host its third annual Gala Fundraiser, an event to support the organization’s charitable initiatives, during the 2012 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
The CIF said this year’s event will raise money for its Crash Hunger project to combat hunger throughout the country.
"It is hard for many families to make ends meet in these economic times," said Bill Shaw, chair of the CIF. "So, it is important for us to give back to the community by providing for those who have been hit the hardest. This fun Halloween event raises awareness of not only the Collision Industry Foundation, but these important needs that we can help with."
The fundraiser is scheduled for Oct. 31 from 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the LVH Hotel in Las Vegas. The event will include a silent auction, desserts, drinks and music by “Total Loss,” a group that features collision industry professionals Rod Enlow and Rick Tuuri.
The CIF is currently is looking for items to auction during the fundraiser’s silent auction. The organization said all members of the collision industry are able to donate items, such as event tickets, vacations, gift certificates or electronics. Visit the CIF’s website to download the donation form.
The CIF said the event is open to all collision repair professionals. Attendees can register for $50 in advance or $60 at the door. Event registration information can be found online.
