ASA–Midwest to Host Human Resources Training

Aug. 18, 2014—The Automotive Service Association of the Midwest (ASA–Midwest) will host a human resources update meeting for shop owners on Sept. 9.

The meeting will include dinner and training from 6:30–8:30 p.m. at Ozark Technical Community College in Springfield, Mo. Speakers will discuss the basics of human resources management, including hiring practices, orientation, and employment discrimination. Part of the meeting will also focus on the importance of performance reviews and documenting incidents.

The training will be geared toward both collision and general repair shop owners. Attendees will each take home the Faces of Your Business employment practices program by Federated Insurance.

The cost to attend is $25 for ASA–Midwest members and $30 for non members. Register online by Sept. 5.
