CDS Releases New asTech Diagnostic Device

Aug 19, 2016—CDS announced the release of the next generation asTech2 diagnostic tool.

The new tool covers nearly all makes and models from model years 2008 and newer. It started shipping in July. In addition to a mobile app launch, CDS also added Wi-Fi and bluetooth capabilities. 

“The next generation asTech2 device represents a significant step forward in our Company’s pursuit to provide the best diagnostic services to the collision repair industry,” Dan Young, CDS vice president of sales and marketing, said. “With today’s vehicles, it is becoming increasingly difficult to perform a proper repair without the help of trained specialists in the area of diagnostics, as evidenced by 4 of the top auto manufacturers’ recent pre and post diagnostic scan position statements.”
