AWARDS CATEGORIES

FenderBender will select one person from each of the following categories: executive, management, administrative support, shop worker, vendor, and “wild card,” who demonstrate the best the industry has to offer. Below are broad definitions and examples of some—but not all—titles that could fall under those categories:

EXECUTIVE

Someone with a financial stake in a shop or collision repair company

• Owner
• Co-owner
• CEO

MANAGEMENT

Someone who runs a shop on a day-to-day basis

• Shop manager
• Foreman

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT

Someone who interacts with the public and/or performs front-office tasks and duties in a shop

• Receptionist
• Office manager
• Estimator

SHOP WORKER

Someone who works on the vehicles on a shop floor

• Body tech
• Painter
• Porter
• Helper
• Detailer

VENDOR

Someone from outside a shop who provides shops with products or services

• Parts representative
• Paint representative
• Jobber

WILD CARD

Someone associated with the collision repair industry

• Educator
• Consultant
• Insurance executive
• Association leader
