Dec. 2, 2014—PartsTrader announced Monday it has surpassed the $1 billion mark in net order volume since the tool launched in February 2012.
Germain Honda of Dublin, Ohio, managed the repair job on a 2015 Acura RDX that put PartsTrader past the milestone of $1 billion in confirmed part orders.
PartsTrader Scott Jurs, PartsTrader's local field sales manager, contacted Germain Honda to notify them of the milestone and purchased lunch on Nov. 25 for the shop's employees to commemorate the occasion.
"We are pleased that Germain Honda has joined the ranks of PartsTrader customers that have chosen to use PartsTrader as their standard operating procedure for the procurement of collision parts within their business," Dale Sailer, PartsTrader vice president of business development, said in a release. "One of our core goals is to save estimators time so that they can spend more time with their customers, and it's rewarding to see those benefits being delivered."
The milestone is the latest in a series of accomplishments the company has achieved in the last half of 2014. In August, the company processed its one millionth parts job since launch. In October, the company surpassed $100 million in monthly parts order volume, as well as processed over 240,000 orders between repairers and suppliers.
